Moriah E2K Math

The 6th grade E2K Virtual math activity was held last week at Moriah.  It was sponsored by SEE, the Jerusalem-based Society for Excellence in Education.  The competition, waged over 2 hours, involved 12 participating E2K schools.  Our students worked feverishly in teams to correctly answer complex math questions and enter their responses into on-site computers that were relayed on to Israel. It was exciting to see our students answer correctly while utilizing the E2K problem-solving process. Not only were students collaborating in teams, but they were also busy checking each other's work and encouraging their classmates to consider other possibilities.  It was E2K at its best!  We are especially proud of our E2K team that took first place honors:
