Author Visits Moriah

All students in grades one through fivemet noted children’s author Trinka Hakes Noble this week and were very enthusiastic about her presentations! She told us that even as a child she always wanted to be an artist and storyteller. Trinka is the author of the Jimmy’s Boa books, a very funny series about a boy named Jimmy whose congenial pet boa constrictor is constantly getting into trouble and two wonderful historical fiction picture books on children in the Civil War and the Revolution, and many others. Our children loved meeting Trinka and hearing about her ideas and experiences. We are so fortunate to have had this opportunity to host this noted author!
