Chess Champions The fourth grade chess team won first place at the New Jersey State Chess Finals. Mark Abramovitz, Hillel Koslowe, and Yehuda Koslowe all won four out of five games. Daniel Zolty won two out of five games. Mark, Hillel, and Yehuda won individual trophies. Mark placed ninth, Hillel placed fifth, and Yehuda placed fourth. All together, Moriah’s fourth grade chess team racked up fourteen wins. They defended their championship from last year and won another trophy for Moirah’s trophy case. They hope to win again next year!
