K-4's Monthly Trips to Eretz Yisrael Dear Moriah Friends, GREETINGS FROM ERETZ YISRAEL!! The children in K-4 have embarked on an exciting adventure traveling through Eretz Yisrael. Each month, on Rosh Chodesh, the children will “visit” 2 cities in Israel. Last month, on Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan, we began our journey up north in Tzfat and Haifa. In Tzfat we visited art galleries. We had a great time exploring the port in Haifa. We continued our journey this month on Rosh Chodesh Kislev, where we visited Nahariya and Tel Aviv. Nahariya is of particular importance because it is the sister city of northern New Jersey. We, K-4, have a pen-pal class, Petel, in Nahariya. We wrote and illustrated a special card for Chanukah to send to our friends in Nahariya. Our final stop in Tel Aviv was visiting an ice cream store-chanut glidah. We can’t wait for Rosh Chodesh Tevet to see where we are traveling to next!! Wish you were all here with us! Lehitraot!! K-4
