Gan Dubonim Gets Ready For Chanukah Our Gan Dubonim classroom is bustling with Chanukah activities. Latkas are frying in our bayit. The Beit Hamikdash is constantly being built and rebuilt in our block corner. Playing with play dough and Chanukah cookie cutters, spinning sivivonim in paint, and creating “sivivon people” are among the many fun activities taking place in the art center. Writing Chanukah words and drawing Chanukah pictures has added excitement to our writing center. We practiced building chanukiot with our many manipulatives and then we even dressed up as candles and built a chanukiah using our bodies! Chanukah Bingo, Chanukah Memory, and many sivivon tournaments are among the many Chanukah games we enjoy playing. Our selection of Chanukah books has made reading time special. Chanukah music and singing can be heard everywhere! We can’t wait for Chanukah to begin on Sunday night!
