PreK-3 Hibernates
Winter makes us think of ice skating and snowmen, warm woolen sweaters, furry boots, cozy mornings under the covers, pancakes, warm maple syrup, and hot chocolate with marshmallows floating on top. Sounds inviting, yes? Our Pre K 3 children think so, too. To celebrate so many winter activities, projects, and lessons, we decided to hibernate right here in school. A few weeks ago, we came to school in our pajamas, brought our teddy bears, blankies, stuffed animals, pillows, and comforters and cuddled up for a long winter’s nap. Of course, before we hibernated, we needed to eat a huge breakfast right here in school. Toasty waffles, pancakes, hot cocoa and lots more. Once our bellies were full, we all got into our cozy “beds”, and hunkered down for a long winter’s nap.
Shh….. Please don’t wake us until spring…………………
