Friendship Circle Visits Moriah The 7th grade boys had a wonderful opportunity this week to celebrate Chanukah in a very meaningful way. They were joined by a group of children from The Friendship Circle for an arts and crafts project, dancing, and a little nosh. Within seconds of the program's start, Moriah students were paired up with Friendship Circle participants and began dancing. Rabbi Weinberg's guitar playing and vocals added a great deal to the boys' excitement. After the dancing, the 7th graders assisted the Friendship Circle kids with a coloring project; all of their creative abilities came shining through. To finish off the event with a bang, they enjoyed fresh sufganiot. The opportunity was both fun and meaningful for the Moriah students, many of whom will be involved with other Friendship Circle events throughout the year.
