Coming Soon: Fifth Grade Oceanography Night

Oceanography Night is approaching quickly! There is much excitement as the fifth grade classes have all begun our research and our Power Point presentations. Some of the students are learning about the mysteries of the Galapagos Islands, interesting facts about unusual animals of the sea, the beauty of the coral reefs, how submarines work, how whales survive in our oceans, and how we can protect our earth by ridding the world of pollution. The children are using numerous resources. Additionally, they are becoming familiar with note taking and keeping track of research materials by recording them in works cited. We can’t wait for the parents to visit us during our Under the Sea evening where the students will share all that they’ve discovered.
