Flatt Stanely

First graders are flying high with Flat Stanley. Stanley is a young boy who is accidentally flattened by a falling bulletin board. He is perfect, except for one thing - he is flat! As we read Flat Stanley we learn of his unusual adventures. They include being sent to California via the postal system, becoming a kite, going from one room to another by slipping under the door, and helping police catch a very elusive museum thief. We’re making our very own flat Stanleys to take with us on weekend or daily adventures.

We love getting to know Stanley and his family, the Lambchops. Poor Arthur, Stanley’s younger brother. He's not getting any attention since Stanley’s been flattened. Arthur solves the problem by thinking up a very interesting way to get Stanley back to his original shape. Read the book to find out!
