K-4 Celebrates Our Torah
The Torah is a special gift given to the Jewish people. Throughout the y ear the children in K-4 have enjoyed learning and living the Torah. We practice the mitzvot we learn from the Torah each day in our class. Each week we study the parsha, write in our parsha books and enjoy sharing our knowledge with our families on Shabbat. To celebrate the culmination of our learning we invited our parents to our K-4 End of the Year Torah Celebration. We played a game called “Who Wants To Be a Torahneer,” which quizzed our parents’ knowledge of Torah. It was great fun! We sang Torah songs and read a book called “Mitzvot We Love To Do,” which the K-4 children wrote and illustrated. Special Torah treats, which included “milk and honey” cookies, were served.
