Fifth Grade News The fifth graders have been entrenched in election studies for the past several weeks. We have explored the progress of the candidates’ campaigns, examined the importance of the Electoral College, written persuasive essays for our chosen candidates, and even cast our own votes. One of the resources we utilized was a live webcast on Scholoastic.com of the kid reporters recapping their election coverage. It was exciting to see students participate in the reporting of this historic election.
