This week, K-3 went on a school bus to The Flat Rock Brook Nature Center. When we got off the bus, we divided into 5 groups. We went on a nature walk. We saw deer, ducks, squirrels, and hawks. We used our sense of touch and felt a tree bark, acorns, and soft leaves. We used our sense of hearing to hear the crickets, birds chirping, and leaves crunching. We used our sense of smell to smell the leaves that smelled like mint and some leaves that smelled like tomatoes!
