Mazel Tov! Mazel Tov! PreK-4 Celebrates the Wedding of יצחק and רבקה In this week’s parsha, Chaye Sarah, we learn that Avraham sent his servant Eliezer to find a kind girl with good midot to be Yitzchak’s wife. Eliezer went back to the place where Avraham used to live. He stopped at a well, where he met Rivka who offered not only him a drink but his camels as well. Eliezer saw how kind Rivka was and he knew she was the perfect girl for Yitzchak! Eliezer gave Rivka some jewelry and asked her to go with him to marry Yitzchak! The highlight of Parshat Chaye Sarah was celebrating the marriage of Rivka and Yitzchak in our own classroom! The children in Gan Tziporim brainstormed together and generated a list of all the things that we would need for the wedding. Some of their suggestions were, a chatan, kalah, music, chupah and a photographer. We danced to very labadik wedding music and enjoyed eating a most delicious wedding cake!
