Fourth Grade Science What a wonderful time our fourth graders are having as they are learning about the systems of the human body! Recently, they constructed the three main parts of a cell using materials from home. The growth of yeast cells was another engaging group activity enjoyed in Science Lab. This month one fun activity the children are working on is a "Mr. Bones" project as they are studying the skeletal/muscular system. A "Construct-a-Gut" project on the digestive system is our next hands-on project. Note-taking skills using highlighters and graphic organizers are also being practiced in class. .
