Middle School Math Students in Mrs. Koslowe’s and Mrs. Levy’s 6th and 7th Grade math classes are inaugurating a new textbook, which comes with many innovative and exciting software features. Last week, several classes took online quizzes in the computer lab. The quizzes were graded electronically in a format that provided teachers with all of the students’ individual results, together with immediate access to the classes’ overall performance in bar graph form and statistical data based on the performance of the class as a whole and the percentage of correct answers for each individual question. The math students also have access to online Video Tutors, as well as chapter tests, section quizzes and vocabulary crossword puzzles. Additionally, in preparation for chapter tests, classes will play Mind Point Quiz Show, a game-show style interactive review game, with questions designed to review each chapter of the math textbook.
