Fifth Grade Sails the Hudson River All aboard! On June 17th the 5th graders set sail on the Clearwater Sloop. Under the warm sunshine and Hudson River breezes, the students explored the river environment and life at sea. After raising the sails cooperatively, they moved around the ship participating in the six stations. The favorite was steering and navigating the ship. Many thanks to Mrs. D’Amico for planning and organizing this wonderful experience. Both teachers and students thoroughly enjoyed this unique opportunity.
