Saturday night's 56th Annual Benefit was truly a night to remember. The warmth of the evening was palpable even as we congregated remotely. Clearly, the unity we feel transcends physical presence. We share a deep sense of purpose as well as joint goals and values. While the evening focused on our well-deserved honorees-- the doctors, nurses, faculty, and administrators-- we recognize that every Moriah family member contributes to our mission and success.
We are delighted to announce that we had a record number of supporters to this year’s campaign which raised over $1.12 million for scholarship and financial aid programs. We are proud of the collective accomplishments of the Moriah family and we are grateful for the opportunity to represent Moriah at this very exciting time in our history.
Thank you to all of those who worked so tirelessly to make the evening such a remarkable success: the Dinner committee of Emily Adler, Rachel Heumann, Dania Lauer and Jen Wasserman; the Annual Campaign Co-chairs, Noam Heller, Jonathan Schechter, Alex Solomon, and David Ulmer; and our incredible team of professionals- Rivkie Gunsburg, Erik Kessler, Ari Lewis, Sara Tetievsky and Dawn Wohlrab.
Thank you to our excellent caterer -- and Moriah parent -- Yaakov Ottensoser (Esprit Events), to Amir Goldstein of Creative Productions and Triple S Studios for surpassing our expectations and ensuring that the event was exceptional. A special thank you to our own Jeff Jacobs for choreographing the entire live program, which added a unique zeal to an emotional evening. Kol Hakavod!
Moriah is growing and thriving as never before. Yet we continue to strive to improve our school in all directions. Of note, this was an evening primarily orchestrated and implemented within the Moriah community. This underscores the range of talent from which we can always draw and is a vital piece to helping Moriah remain a preeminent Jewish Day School in Bergen County.
Thank you again for your support, dedication, and commitment to Moriah.
