Middle School

The Moriah Middle School, under the direction of Mrs. Tzipporah Boim, services students in grades 6 through 8. The close working relationship among our school administrators facilitates a smooth transition from grade 5 into our Middle School. The Middle School offers a comprehensive educational program that utilizes innovative curriculum and cutting edge technologies in all subject areas. Faculty members help students develop a personal commitment to a life of Torah values as well as a love of the Jewish people and Israel. A daily minyan in our beautiful Bet Knesset begins each school day. Overnight trips on each grade level create additional learning and social opportunities.

Students at all points on the learning spectrum are educated utilizing a variety of differentiated learning techniques. Targeted subjects are tracked in order to help each student achieve his or her greatest potential. In addition, the Middle School has a Maximum Support and Homework Club Program, staffed by trained special educators to assist students who require more help.

Middle School students can also partake in a variety of extracurricular activities designed to highlight our students’ many and varied talents, including Student Council, sports teams, E2K, Chidon HaTanach, Mishmar, poetry club, our literary magazine, yearbook and choir. After graduating 8th grade, Moriah alumni are accepted to all of the local yeshiva high schools where they continue their general & Jewish studies and proudly carry on their Moriah traditions.
